I’ll never forget when I got the call from a California area code. I was sitting on the floor of my dining room, processing flowers for an upcoming weekend wedding. Just a few days prior, i shared a collection of photos from a city-themed elopement to my instagram where I used HOS hand painted irithuriums and i was flooded with feedback from Haus of Stems. They had asked for the photos of the bouquets so they could share to their pages. I was flattered, but mostly shocked that my flowers reached an account I was constantly drooling over.

I had just assumed their call was about the photos again, but I soon realized that I was being asked to design a bouquet with their unreleased fall bridal collection. Haus of Stems asking me to put together a styled shoot with a new line of anthuriums that no one has even seen yet? I was floored. I was honored. And I had to get to work!

I gathered a team of local women to help me successfully bring this vision to life! I still get goosebumps thinking about unboxing the iritiriums. A flower’s unique beauty never gets old to me and those hand-painted beauties were no exception. They radiated a special magic that had my mind racing with possibilities. After countless hours of scouting locations and deciding on all the tiny, yet necessary details that make any idea a reality, a creative brief was typed up and sent out to the team. With only one rain delay, we eventually came together and created what I think are some of the most special images to date. It was a beautiful, shared experience that I was very fortunate to have .
